Ann Friedman is the deputy editor of The American Prospect, a monthly progressive political magazine, and an editor of Feministing.com, a leading feminist blog.
She was previously the Prospect’s web editor, an editorial fellow at Mother Jones magazine, managing editor of AlterNet.org, a program associate at Legal Momentum, and a reporter for several local newspapers in Missouri and Iowa. She holds degrees in journalism and Spanish literature from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She lives in Washington, D.C.
